Post Judgment Litigation

Post Judgment Litigation

We received a referral from a large international law firm, to represent a foreign investment company against post judgment execution on its assets, arising out of one of the largest anti-terrorism judgments ever, $169,000,000. The plaintiffs were seeking to seize our client’s funds which were investments of various individuals and companies, claiming the investments were actually money belonging to the defendants. We defended the case in federal court, up to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which resulted in a resolution that left our client’s investments intact.
