Ms. Cayer is the firm’s Legal Practice Assistant and Accounts Receivable/Payable Billing Assistant. She attended Housatonic Community College and received a certificate in word processing. Ms. Cayer worked for over thirteen years as a legal assistant for a small boutique law firm in Naugatuck, Connecticut where she supported her supervising attorney in workers’ compensation claims, personal injury cases, real estate transactions, and probate matters, as well as assisted the firm’s bookkeeper. Prior to joining Minchella Law in 2024, she worked as an administrative assistant to the office administrator and chief operating officer for a mid-size insurance defense firm in Cheshire, Connecticut.
Ms. Cayer’s responsibilities include preparing the firm’s monthly invoices and processing incoming payments, preparing, reviewing, and editing a wide range of legal documents and correspondence of a confidential nature, transcription, and other related administrative duties.
